Gouzi User Agreement

The Gouzi operator is the legal entity identified on the App distribution page, order, invoice, or enterprise agreement. If those materials do not identify the operator and contact details, confirm them through gouzi.me or in-app feedback before submitting personal data. Installing, registering, starting a trial, entering a license code, or using the service means you accept these terms. If you act for an organization, you must have authority and provide legally required notice and consent.

Provide accurate, lawful information and protect verification codes, tokens, and license codes. Trial length, device count, seats, and features are defined by the App, license record, order, or enterprise agreement. Do not share a code beyond its scope or bypass device binding, time, seat, payment, or security controls.

Projects, assets, canvas snapshots, private intelligence, semantic indexes, and API keys stay on the relevant Mac by default; API keys are stored in macOS Keychain. Local models use disk and unified memory and remain subject to their licenses. Keep independent backups of important .gouzi projects.

Only when you start a task are the required prompt, selected assets, settings, and context sent to your configured provider, or through an administrator's local-network gateway in team mode. Review provider terms and do not send personal data, confidential information, or restricted content you are not authorized to provide.

Administrators can set roles, model routes, backups, and enterprise-training policy. Under the current default, only accepted or 4–5-star team results, plus directly necessary source assets, may be encrypted and copied to the administrator's Mac. Discarded, rejected, 1–3-star, and personal-workspace assets are excluded. The organization must have a lawful basis and give notice; an admin default cannot replace consent required by law.

You retain rights in lawful content and grant only the limited permission needed for the action you choose. You are responsible for rights in assets, fonts, marks, voices, likenesses, personal data, and model output. AI generation, recognition, segmentation, transcription, and ranking can be wrong or biased and require human review before publication or high-impact use.

This permission is limited to what is necessary, while the service is operating, to perform the function you actively request. It does not include any right to exploit user content independently for commercial purposes.

A provider or Gouzi may show source or AI-generated notices in the interface, exported file, or metadata. Do not maliciously remove, alter, forge, or conceal legally required labels; disclose AI-generated content when publishing. Do not use Gouzi for illegal, infringing, fraudulent, child-exploitative, malicious-deepfake, impersonation, system-attack, or security-evasion activity.

Beta software may contain defects, performance variation, compatibility issues, or feature changes. We may restrict online features for security, compliance, maintenance, or material breach. Keep backups. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as is, but no limitation excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We may amend these terms for legal or service changes. The amended terms will be displayed prominently on the gouzi.me home page or in the App at least seven days before taking effect. If you disagree, stop using the service and request account closure before the effective date. Continued use indicates acceptance only where lawful and does not replace any separately required notice or consent.

Mainland China services are governed by PRC law; mandatory consumer, privacy, and AI laws elsewhere continue to apply. Translations express the same intent; Simplified Chinese controls only where lawful and never reduces mandatory local rights. Material changes will be highlighted and consent requested when required.
